Terms of service.
Updated September 11, 2026. These terms are between you and SideSpot. Contact us at zerowaves.io@gmail.com. They cover SideSpot’s website, dashboard, Mac app, and advertising service.
1. Participation and accounts
SideSpot is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and use only accounts and payment methods you are authorized to use. If you manage advertising for a business, you must have authority to act for it. One account supports one connected Mac. An account does not guarantee eligibility for every feature or payout method.
2. Using the Mac app
The app displays approved ads in a movable desktop placement with supported square and banner sizes. You can choose a supported size, move the placement, unlink the Mac, or quit normally. The app has no pause, snooze, or opacity controls. Unlinking or replacing a Mac revokes its credentials and unfinished earning sessions. A password reset also revokes connected Mac credentials.
3. What earns and what is billed
A billable impression requires 60 continuous eligible seconds validated by the server. The Mac must be online, awake, unlocked, recently active, and in a supported display state with the ad ready. Partial, interrupted, offline, loading, or invalid sessions do not earn. Five minutes of inactivity stops earnings. Clicking an ad is optional. Neither an impression nor a device signal proves that someone paid attention.
4. Earnings and bonuses
Base earnings are 60% of the validated impression charge. Eligible referral and promotional bonuses are calculated separately from base earnings, funded by SideSpot, and do not compound. The applicable program rules determine eligibility. Earnings vary with available campaigns, placement, bids, and eligible use. SideSpot does not promise income, continuous inventory, universal visibility, or a minimum number of impressions.
5. Pending balances and payouts
Validated earnings remain pending for 120 hours before becoming available unless held for review. Bank payout requests start at $10 from the available balance and use whole cents. A request reserves its amount while it receives review and provider processing. Standard bank payout fees are covered by SideSpot. The destination, applicable currency conversion, fees, and received amount must be shown before confirmation. Provider approval, country eligibility, verification, and applicable tax requirements can affect availability.
6. Holds, failures, and corrections
Suspected invalid activity can lead to a review or hold. Corrections use audited ledger entries. Ordinary advertiser chargebacks do not erase legitimate cleared earnings. A rejected payout or confirmed final failure releases reserved funds when safe. A provider failure status that can still become successful remains reserved for reconciliation. An uncertain transfer remains reserved until reconciled. If a completed transfer is returned by a bank, the actual returned amount is credited as a separate event. Email zerowaves.io@gmail.com to request a review of a disputed balance or decision.
7. Campaign setup and delivery
Advertisers choose artwork, an approved HTTPS destination, supported audiences, per-size maximum bids, a budget, and a schedule. Campaigns must be approved, funded, scheduled, and explicitly enabled before delivery. Auction selection and available inventory determine delivery and the actual impression charge within the applicable bid rules. A budget or bid is not a promise of reach, clicks, conversions, or sales. Advertisers can pause campaigns.
8. Funding and refunds
Advertising uses prepaid funds. The configured minimum top-up is $25. Funding is available only through enabled payment methods and eligible providers. Refund requests are limited to unspent, unreserved funds and require review for return to the original payment method. Spent funds and funds already reserved for delivery are not available for a new campaign or refund. Simulated balances cannot be withdrawn.
9. Artwork and advertising standards
Advertisers must have the rights to use their artwork, brand, and destination and must provide accurate claims. Submission authorizes SideSpot to process, format, review, store, and display the material to operate the requested campaign. The advertiser keeps ownership of its material. Campaign approval does not verify every claim or endorse the advertised product.
- Follow the advertising policy. Adult sexual content, gambling, political ads, weapons, malicious downloads, and deceptive earnings claims are prohibited.
- Do not include HTML, JavaScript, or embedded trackers in creative. Destinations must be approved HTTPS links.
- Creative and destination changes require a new review. A previous approved revision can continue to run while a replacement is reviewed.
10. Reporting and conversions
Delivery reports separate display starts from validated billable impressions. Click and conversion measurements describe recorded events and do not guarantee sales or complete attribution. Optional conversion reporting uses a seven-day click attribution window. Advertisers must be authorized to submit those events and must not send customer emails or order contents. Conversion reports do not affect impression charges or earner payments.
11. Prohibited conduct
Do not falsify eligibility, replay device events, generate fraudulent impressions, share device credentials, abuse referrals, access another person’s account, upload harmful files, or evade campaign review. Do not interfere with the service or use it unlawfully. SideSpot may reject content, stop campaigns, revoke devices, or restrict accounts while investigating abuse or protecting the service.
12. Software and third-party services
SideSpot’s software and branding remain the property of their respective owners. Access to SideSpot permits use of the service for its intended purpose and does not transfer ownership of the software. Advertiser websites, sign-in services, and payment providers have separate terms. You choose whether to follow an ad link. SideSpot cannot promise the availability or performance of those external services.
13. Ending use
You can quit the app, unlink your Mac, and request account deletion in Settings. Deletion requests revoke Mac credentials immediately and receive review. Closing an account does not automatically remove required accounting or security records or cancel unresolved transactions. Any remaining balance, pending payout, or campaign reservation must be reconciled under the applicable rules.
14. Delegated advertiser access
Connecting an agent grants full advertiser access through a browser consent step. The agent can make ordinary campaign changes without another SideSpot confirmation, subject to any approvals required by your agent client. It can prepare and submit campaigns, manage delivery, read reports, request funding or refunds, and manage attribution credentials. This does not grant platform administration, earner withdrawals, or Mac device control. Creative review, administrative approvals, human payment completion, and account eligibility and payment availability requirements still apply.
- Offline access can continue after browser sign-out or session expiry. To stop an agent immediately, revoke its connection in Settings; a password reset also revokes agent grants.
- Revoking only its OAuth refresh token stops further refresh, but existing access tokens can remain valid for up to ten minutes.
- Review agent actions and connection permissions. Disconnecting an agent does not undo completed operations or remove information already shared with it.
15. Service availability and your rights
Features may change or be temporarily unavailable. Access to accounts, advertising, and payouts depends on applicable eligibility requirements and service availability. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
16. Related policies and contact
Read the privacy policy for data practices, the advertising policy for creative requirements, and the payout disclosures for balance and transfer details. Email zerowaves.io@gmail.com for account, campaign, refund, or legal questions.
